Navyaa Jain

Navyaa Jain is a senior at Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ, who is hoping to study political science and economics in college. She is most passionate about understanding how our political system can be a tool for sustainable development and social change. Prior to joining YIP, Navyaa’s political experience included interning with several campaigns and writing a series of sustainable policy recommendations for the incoming NJ government. Additionally, interested in education, she’s worked with the Columbia Earth Institute to discuss climate curriculum in NY and NJ. Outside of work, her hobbies include baking, singing, golfing, and reading.
