Gayatri Gautham is a high school student from North Dakota with a strong interest in the connection between STEM and public policy. As a NSLI-Y language scholar, she values cultural exchange and global learning, which have broadened her perspective on international issues. Gayatri is actively involved in Scouts, where she has developed leadership skills and a commitment to community service. Through activities like Debate, Student Congress, and Girls State, she has gained a deeper understanding of civic engagement and how government policies can influence innovation and technology. Gayatri is particularly passionate about science, technology, and cybersecurity. She enjoys exploring how her academic work and extracurricular experiences complement each other to help her think critically about solving problems and creating positive change.
