Implicit bias often goes unchecked throughout the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Healthcare field, contributing to disparities in care and outcomes for marginalized communities. This policy brief will explore the history of implicit bias, its detriment to patients and providers alike, and propose non-partisan solutions to alleviate this issue.
