Engage, Educate, Empower: Building a Lasting Alumni Community & Advancing Projects

The Community Fundraising Initiative gives alumni and supporters a practical, hands-on way to strengthen YIP’s work. At the center of the program are Community Fundraising Coordinators (CFCs), volunteers who raise funds for YIP in their own communities. They might host a small event, partner with a local business, or simply share YIP’s donation link with people they know. The role is flexible by design, allowing each coordinator to choose activities that fit their schedule, skills, and network. Together, these efforts build a steady, grassroots base of support that grows over time. Beyond the dollars raised, the program strengthens the community around YIP and keeps alumni connected to our mission.
