2025 Spring Fellow

Hafsa is an incoming Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia studying Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law. Her academic and civic interests focus on the intersection between education policy, equity, and youth civic engagement. As the only student member on a board of education with full voting rights in the nation, she has contributed to policy development in one of the largest school systems in the country. She also works with nonprofit organizations In the DMV area to promote civic education and expand youth participation in local democracy.
