Protecting Students Online: An Approach to Sextortion Prevention

This brief recommends adding sextortion prevention lessons to K–12 health classes, along with yearly training for school staff and awareness programs for parents and guardians. Together, these steps would help students, teachers, and families better recognize warning signs, get help, and prevent harm.
