Saniya Yamin

Saniya Yamin is a high school student from Northern Virginia and serves as Head of the International Fellowship. She is passionate about education policy, international relations, and civic engagement.

Saniya is a youth advisor to her county government, where she helps shape local policies on education and student engagement. She works to ensure marginalized groups have the resources to advocate for themselves, mentoring refugee students locally and establishing debate programs abroad. Saniya also lobbies education policy proposals before the Virginia House of Delegates and leads her school’s debate and Model United Nations teams.
