This capstone will look into the reforming of the education system in Pakistan.
Saniya Yamin is a junior in high school with a strong interest in civic engagement and education reform. She serves as a youth representative to her county Board of Supervisors, volunteers with Girl Scouts, and tutors refugee students. As president of her school’s Speech and Debate team and founder of its Model United Nations club, Saniya empowers others to speak up and engage with global issues. Beyond her local work, Saniya volunteers as an English teacher at a rural nonprofit school in Pakistan, where she empowers young girls to pursue their education and future goals. She looks forward to continuing her advocacy for positive change locally and globally!
