Saniya Yamin

Saniya Yamin is an incoming first-year student at Harvard University planning to study Government. She serves as the Senior Vice President of the PIVOT Center and was previously a Co-Founder of PIVOT. Saniya’s work centers on education policy, civic engagement, and expanding access to opportunities for underserved students. She has served as a youth advisor to her county government and has advocated for legislation in the Virginia General Assembly. Beyond her policy work, Saniya has supported refugee students through tutoring initiatives, established debate programs abroad, and created civic engagement efforts within her community.
