Alexandra Landman

Alexandra Landman is a student at Mater Dei High School in the state of California. She has a passion for equity in education and expanding online and digital literacy as well as securing fair access to resources for students. Through the Institute for Youth in Policy Fellowship, Alex looked into how digital publishing is able to encourage inclusion, educational opportunity, and creativity.

This capstone proposes that federal and state education agencies invest in both equipment and digital publishing literacy initiatives, prioritizing Title I schools, to empower youth to be not only consumers of culture but also its creators and stewards.
