Amaya is also the Director of Academic Development for the USC Black Pre-Law Association, advancing mentorship and academic success initiatives for pre-law students. Previously, she completed legal internships in Santiago, Chile, and Cape Town, South Africa, focusing on comparative policy and access to justice. Her interests include criminal justice reform, education equity, and international law, with a focus on building restorative and community-based policy solutions.
