Ammar Siddique is a Grant Writing Intern at the Institute for Youth in Policy, where he helps develop funding proposals, conduct background research, and support the organization’s broader development strategy. His work focuses on strengthening youth-led civic initiatives by identifying opportunities, shaping narratives, and ensuring proposals reflect YIP’s mission and impact.

Beyond YIP, Ammar is deeply involved in leadership, policy, and STEM. He serves in multiple community-oriented roles, including leading projects at his high school’s STEM Academy and contributing to service programs that support local students and families.

He also explores the intersection of technology and public policy through hands-on projects, research fellowships, and entrepreneurship. Ammar cares about expanding access to education, promoting civic engagement among young people, and building tools that make complex issues easier to understand. He brings curiosity, empathy, and a strong work ethic toeverything he does, and he hopes to continue creating work that blends service, innovation, and policy insight.
