Annika Raj

Annika Raj is a student at Biotechnology High School and is passionate about policy education and joined Youth in Policy to expand her exposure to policy making while helping educate fellows on a variety of issues.

She is passionate about mitigating education, healthcare, and foreign policy issues. Beyond Youth in Policy, Annika is deeply involved in advocacy and government. She serves as a National Youth Advocate for the YMCA, where she represents New Jersey’s interests at National Advocacy Day and a Legislative Intern for New Jersey State Senator Vin Gopal. Additionally, she is a State Officer for New Jersey Youth and Government, and a 2024 NJ Governor’s STEM Scholar. Outside of policy, Annika enjoys theater, Bharatanatyam, hanging out with friends, and watching Modern Family for the hundredth time.
