She earned her Girl Scout Gold Award by organizing a blood drive at a local community center and raising awareness on the importance of blood donations. Compelled to address this issue further, she wrote a 20-page original review paper proposing optimal strategies to solve blood shortages and hosted a regional virtual blood drive. Through her efforts, Arabella hopes to influence local and federal governments to enact policies that alleviate blood shortages.
