As a Grant Writer, YIP provides the knowledge and experience Ashley needs to continue pursuing writing in her post-secondary career (and beyond). At Loyola University: Chicago, Ashley majors in Journalism and tutors at FORA: Forging Opportunities for Refugees in America.

She aspires to close the disparaging division within our country with the mission of YIP and empower our generation to create a better society for all with discourse, education, and open-mindedness. Ashley encourages progress for all people as we build a truly democratic society that prioritizes People and Equality.
