2026 Winter Fellow
Audrey Huang
Audrey Huang attends University High School in Irvine, California, with a habit of asking who is actually accountable when systems cause harm. A national-level competitive debater and first freshman finalist at the Tournament of Champions, she brings that same instinct into her work as VP of UHS Speech and Debate and Deputy Director of Congressional Debate at Equality in Forensics, where she builds access to debate for students who wouldn't otherwise have it. She coaches middle schoolers weekly, advises Irvine city policymakers through the Youth Advisory Council, and delivered a TEDx talk at Irvine City Hall on the hidden politics of information systems. Her YIP capstone investigates what it actually means for a human to review an AI-generated insurance denial, and whether the law currently requires anything meaningful at all.
