Ava Cargan

They are a writer at The Amendment Project, Muanzo Mpya, and they are an editor of both of their school newspapers. They are the head of The Association for White Anti-Racist Education (AWARE) at their school to dismantle racist systems and work towards advancing anti racism in their community. They have worked on multiple political campaigns in a number of different positions before joining the Institute for Youth in Policy. They are a varsity field hockey player and have played since the sixth grade and are looking to play on a club team in college.
