Ayushmaan Mukherjee

Ayushmaan Mukherjee is a student at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School with an interest in economics, international relations, advocacy, and history, hoping to one day work at an intergovernmental body. At YIP, he serves as an Economic Policy Analyst.

Ayushmaan Mukherjee is a high schooler interested in majoring in political economy with an interest in policy and advocacy. He is the Founder of the Global Virtual Model United Nations (GVMUN), a nonprofit that has hosted conferences and policy initiatives that have reached over50k from 30+ countries, as well as contributed to an advocacy document presented at COP30. Being a Pioneer Research '25 Scholar and Civics Unplugged '24 Fellow, he has conducted independent research at the Stevens Institute of Tech and been published in the YIP Journal of Policy Analysis, Fall '25. In the future, he plans to pursue a career working in intergovernmental bodies and think tanks, addressing issues in international trade policy.
