Benjy is a student at West End Secondary School in New York City who is passionate about fostering spaces for thoughtful civil dialogue. After founding a school politics club, he was inspired to bring meaningful political conversation to broader communities. At the Institute, Benjy works to build a more engaged and inclusive future for American politics.

Beyond his role with the Institute, Benjy is the founder of Civil Dialogue Clubs of America, an organization that establishes nonpartisan political dialogue clubs in high schools. His experience also includes working on two political campaigns and serving as a journalist for a historic New York City newspaper. In his free time, Benjy enjoys singing, tutoring, playing basketball, and cooking.
