Daniel Palmer

Daniel Palmer is an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, studying economics. As a research assistant at Harvard Law School, Daniel co-authored peer-reviewed papers, received press coverage, and was cited in Congress. His research influenced the White House’s climate policy agenda, preventing 7 billion tons of carbon emissions and delivering $100 billion in annual benefits to Americans. He has guest lectured at Harvard Summer School and advised D.C. think tanks on the economic and climate impacts of innovation. He brings this experience to the Institute, where he leads the economic policy team.
