He is interested in the importance of sovereign supply chains in underpinning economic robustness and the adverse consequences of vertically integrated corporate agriculture on environmental sustainability and food security. As an aspiring effective altruist, Emmanouil is passionate about the importance of equitable, efficient, and proactive public policy in addressing multivarious issues of national and international significance. He seeks to use his time at YIP to enhance his understanding of the policy-making process and contribute innovative policy ideas to address diverse economic, environmental, health, and social issues in the United States.
