Gabriel Sanroman serves as Policy Media Editor and Analyst at the Institute for Youth in Policy. At the University of Michigan, he concentrates on domestic governance and foreign policy while pursuing a minor in Political Science. His work examines democratic protection, economic development, and U.S.–Mexico relations, given his binational background and experience as Assistant Communications Intern for the local government of Tlacuitapa, Jalisco, his family’s hometown. Gabriel is currently contributing to diplomatic research for the U.S. Department of State and has written about the importance of democratic governance for The Michigan Daily. He is dedicated to advancing pragmatic, evidence-based solutions that strengthen domestic institutions and enhance international cooperation.
