Gabriela Hartlage

Gabriela Hartlage is a high schooler from Louisville, Kentucky, with a keen interest in international relations and politics. She’s been raising awareness on global issues among young people in her community through her school’s Human Rights Club which she co-founded, organizing drives and fundraisers for local and international nonprofits.

She has also been active with the YMCA’s Youth and Government program since middle school. In her spare time, she likes to draw stylized portraits, roller skate, and read books on politics and history, with a focus on post-colonial theory.
