Gottfrid Axelsson

Gottfrid Axelsson is an active member of his community and currently serves on the Board of Environment in his city. He is passionate about economic policy and green urban development that promotes walkable cities.

Driven by a strong interest in STEM, he previously was a member of the Junior Academy of the New York Academy of Sciences and served as the leader of a team responsible for developing a forest fire prevention system. During his free time, he enjoys reading, playing board games, discussing politics, and hanging out with friends.

Capstone Project

This project argues that today's cities are overly dependent on motor vehicle for accessibility in the everyday, and discusses how urban areas can be redesigned to meet the needs of its residents by analyzing prior methods with existing demands.
