After drafting her own state legislation at the age of 17,Grace Kweon (Kwon) found herself exposed to the new and exciting world of policy. Throughout this journey, she was able to meet and work with countless activists, legislators, and leaders, slowly but surely understanding how change-making works on the Capitol floor while becoming enchanted by the process. This interest led her to Youth in Policy, in which she now writes policy briefs on criminal justice issues for the organization. Beyond this, her foundation lies in working as a research intern for her state Senator, serving as President of four civic-based clubs and/or organizations, and acting as Copy Editor in Chief of her school newspaper.
