Hanshika Kamjula

Hanshika Kamjula is a high school student from California. She enjoys investing her time in civic engagement, public policy reform, educational equity, and environmental advocacy. She currently works in the Institute for Youth in Policy as the Director of Compass, and is highly dedicated to a variety of advocacy, policy, and leadership organizations and initiatives.

Hanshika Kamjula is a high school student from California, and she is extremely passionate about civic engagement, public policy, and advocating for expanded resources for underrepresented communities. As Director of Compass with the Institute of Youth in Policy, she and her team are dedicated to turning students' uncertainties about their futures into confidence by expanding postsecondary pathways through the COMPASS program. Beyond the Institute of Youth in Policy, Hanshika continues to embrace her interests through competing on her school's Mock Trial Team, serving as a Government and Policy Committee Member for Region 11 through CASC, and working with her city to run career conferences, college fairs, and impactful summer programs as secretary of the Youth Innovators Program. Apart from working on her passions, Hanshika loves to spend time with her friends, go on walks, and take long drives.
