His primary area of academic interest is in public speaking, highlighting the effects of radical bias, and amplifying the student voice, which he hopes to pursue in his work with YIP. He runs a speech-centric nonprofit and works with local city council, where he collaborates with students around the city to develop policies that address issues concerning policy in and around the community. In his free time, Henry likes to go swimming, play cello, and learn to fly planes.
