Isabel leads YIP’s Education Research & Analytics Division as the Vice President. She launches and leads research and data projects to show the need for discourse-based, non-partisan civics education in the United States. Isabel is the first author of an academic study exploring discourse's effects on 36+ students in promoting depolarization, youth civic engagement, and political topic comprehension. She is especially passionate about the intersection of computer science, social science, and media, which drives her academic, research, and professional interests. In her free time, Isabel enjoys watching figure skating, television, and movies.
