Isabella Romeu is a first-year student at The University of Chicago, majoring in English and Creative Writing. She is a Cuban first-generation American pursuing a career in digital journalism. Isabella is interested in politics, social justice, and criminal justice and hopes to have this passion reflected in her professional work. Isabella is the Outreach Director at YIP and is involved in other organizations, such as the Justice Education Project (JEP) and Project Patriarchy, where her work has been published and featured in Teen Vogue. In her free time, she enjoys journaling, reading, and thrifting.
