Ivan Sun

Ivan is a high school junior driven by a passion for addressing health disparities through a public policy lens. Aspiring to major in public health, he aims to leverage his future education and career to become involved in the medical field.

Ivan is inspired to make a change in healthcare equity. People of less represented social classes like the underprivileged and racial minorities receive worse care then their peers from hospitals. He manages YIP’s Instagram and social media accounts, conducting research on health disparities to use media to bring awareness to these issues. He hopes his work at YIP will help develop policy solutions to these issues. In his free time, he enjoys music and swimming.
