James is a student at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland, who is deeply interested in political studies and the legal field. As the VP of Journal, James promotes universal civic engagement and supports the development of talented analytical writers for our journal.

James is the VP of Journal at YIP, aiming to foster historical analysis skills among journal writers. Outside of YIP, James is an intern for Baltimore Votes, promoting nonpartisan civic engagement among high school students via election judge service and voter pre-registration. In his future collegiate pursuits, James intends to study political science and attend law school.
