Jay Chavan

Jay Chavan is a student at Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey, where he serves as President of the Mock Trial and Model UN teams and Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper. He is also a youth political organizer who founded his school’s Civic Engagement Club to foster meaningful discourse and Voices Unchained, a global nonprofit dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices. In his free time, he enjoys journaling and playing golf. In college, Jay plans to major in public policy before pursuing law school, with the long-term goal of working in public service and creating lasting social change.
