Khadija Mohammed

Khadija is the Director of Voter Engagement at YIP Institute. With the VE team, she has overseen content to be put on YIP’s Instagram (Ex: Trump v. Anderson, the Presidential Debate), developed a guide to voter registration drives, and is in the process of creating a database to view state by state election information for the website! An early college student from North Carolina with an extensive history in advocacy, Khadija is interested in studying the intersections between civic engagement, public policy, and political science. Outside of YIP, she is a Community Organizer for Rhizome in the Eastern NC Region and also serves as the National Director of Civic Engagement for the SPRING Group. In her free time, she enjoys going out with her friends and writing her own stories.
