Lee Chun Hei

Chun Hei is an independent writer currently serving national service in Singapore. Formerly a research intern at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, he writes at the intersection of political economy and institutional design. He approaches geopolitical questions through non-conventional lenses, showing readers how smaller events illuminate wider socio-political discourse. He is particularly interested in how organisational structures entrench power asymmetry. In local communities, he drives change by leading Raffles Dialects, Singapore’s largest student dialect organisation that preserves the linguistic heritage of communities whose voices have been structurally marginalised.
