Mark Li is a student at River Hill High School in Maryland passionate about inclusive youth policy, civic leadership, and public engagement. His work centers on advancing education equity and expanding access to inclusive, community-driven policymaking. He currently serves as Co-Director of Project Incubation at the Institute for Youth in Policy, where he mentors and supports youth-led initiatives, helping transform early-stage ideas into scalable, high-impact projects. Beyond YIP, Mark’s work spans government, media, and grassroots organizing. Through advocacy in journalism and policymaking, Mark focuses on building platforms that explore identity, leadership, and systems change through a youth lens. Mark is also an avid musician and writer; he enjoys playing saxophone and writing, seeing arts as a crucial medium of intercultural exchange.
