Martina Jaramillo

Martina Jaramillo is a high school senior from Miami, Florida, pursuing an International Baccalaureate and with a passion for political science, journalism, and youth advocacy.

As a writer and researcher, she has explored the intersections of public policy and social equity, contributing to projects like USA Today's Food Access and Health Research initiative. Martina also serves as chair of the Miami-Dade Youth Commission, where she advocates for policies that empower young people to engage in their communities and democracy. She is particularly interested in educational equity and voting rights and has traveled to Washington, D.C., to call for nationwide legislation to advance these goals.
