Maryam Abbas

Maryam is currently a senior at Wheeling High School in Wheeling, IL. She loves to be involved in her school and community and cares about using her lived experiences to foster social change. She is particularly interested in issues regarding social justice, including gender inequality, systemic violence, and disparities in education. In her future, she hopes to pursue a degree in Public Policy and/or Gender Studies.
