2026 Spring Fellow
Milan Desai is a student at Sage Hill School who is interested in AI policy, healthcare ethics, and journalism. He is passionate about using writing and research to discover how developing technology can be regulated properly to ensure safety and trust. Outside of policy, he is involved in the student newspaper, debate, and MUN club along with being the current Senior Patrol Leader of his Boy Scouts Troop. In the future, he hopes to continue pursuing medicine, technology, and public policy.
Capstone Project
This policy brief examines the rapid implementation of AI medical scribes in healthcare to reduce physician burnout and improve efficiency, while also analyzing the risks of audio-only input. This brief proposes an AI Scribe Transparency Framework to ensure patient disclosure, establish error-tracking systems, and improve the accuracy of patient-physician conversation transcriptions.
