Morgan Vazquez is a political communications student at the University of Florida whose work focuses on strategic storytelling, U.S.–China relations, and human-centered security policy. Her reporting and research explore the intersection of diplomacy, media, and global cooperation.

Morgan Vazquez is a student journalist and researcher pursuing degrees in Political Science and Media Management at the University of Florida. Her work centers on international relations, public affairs media, and human-centered approaches to security and diplomacy. As a C.Y. Tung Scholar, she conducted field research across multiple countries on the geopolitical and local impacts of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, deepening her focus on U.S.–China relations and global cooperation. Morgan has worked in political media through C-SPAN and in journalism through ESPN WRUF. Fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin, she is particularly interested in how communication, policy, and storytelling can bridge divides and shape more collaborative international outcomes.
