Morgan Vazquez is a student journalist and researcher pursuing degrees in Political Science and Media Management at the University of Florida. Her work centers on international relations, public affairs media, and human-centered approaches to security and diplomacy. As a C.Y. Tung Scholar, she conducted field research across multiple countries on the geopolitical and local impacts of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, deepening her focus on U.S.–China relations and global cooperation. Morgan has worked in political media through C-SPAN and in journalism through ESPN WRUF.
