Rachel Choi is a first-generation immigrant and high school student at Orange County School of the Arts in California, where she studies and leads at the intersection of civic engagement, gender equity, and storytelling. She is the Founder and Executive Director of UNMUTED and the HERA Foundation, where she works to make legal education and policy literacy accessible to young people, especially those from underrepresented and low-income communities. Beyond advocacy, she is deeply involved in debate, Model United Nations, and public speaking, and she uses writing and poetry to explore girlhood, immigrant identity, and structural inequality.
