Robbie Nguyen

Robbie, a Lancaster Pennsylvania native born and raised, is a student at Manheim Township High School. He graduated from the Institute for Youth in Policy Fellowship apart of the Spring 2024 cohort. He now serves the Institute by managing the website for the organization.

After graduating the fellowship he joined working in special projects for technology. His prior roles included Special Projects Intern, Special Projects Associate for Technology in the Office of the CEO and working on the website as part of the Technology department. Nguyen loved his joint role between OCEO and Tech and hopes to continue supporting as management and overseeing all website operations at the Institute.

He is involved in a variety of activities from language learning to cloud computing. Robbie is very involved in his home community of Lancaster. His volunteering stems from many amazing causes from food security to education in first aid and mental health. He is involved with Roots and Shoots a part of the Jane Goodall Institute. Nguyen is currently learning about the beautiful culture and language of Russian and Spanish. He hopes to use his language and culture skills and experience in his future career. He hopes to go into the intersections of engineering and policy. In addition, he has many positions that combine policy and the environment. His love for climate policy shines through his technical work as a director at Climate Cardinals, a Forbes 30 under 30 and international climate organization. In his free time he likes to connect with nature and spend time outside. He also runs and has done Track and Cross Country. Nguyen hopes to use his diverse skillset within National Security to positively benefit and protect the United States of America. Every day, he is inspired by the Diplomatic Security Service, their Security Engineer Officers (SEOs), and the work of the U.S. Intelligence Agencies. Specifically, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. The NGA combines his love of technology, intelligence, and the environment. He hopes to manage intelligence programs after his post-secondary education and commissioning into the Navy to serve through NROTC.
