Taekyong Kim
Taek is a student at Lynbrook High School in San Jose, California. He is part of the Model United Nations team and is a journalist for the school newspaper. Taek enjoys listening to jazz and classical music and exploring new boba shops.
Taekyong (Taek) Kim is the Senior Vice President of the Center for Civic Growth at the Youth Institute in Policy. His involvement in politics was ignited when he started working for a local congressional political campaign, and found his passion for voter engagement when he started to be involved with New Voters, a youth voter registration organization. During his first months in YIP, he was the Institute’s director of Voter Engagement, and eventually took on the SVP role that would encompass broader elements of civic engagement.
