Taylor Beljon‑Regen is a student at Harvard University studying government and public policy. Originally from Los Angeles, she serves as the Interim Senior Vice President of Effective Discourse at the Institute for Youth in Policy and is passionate about civic engagement, education policy, environmental advocacy, and multipartisan dialogue.

Taylor Beljon‑Regen is a student at Harvard University, where she studies government and public policy. Originally from Los Angeles, she serves as the Interim Senior Vice President of Effective Discourse, organizing YIP’s public policy fellowship program and promoting meaningful student discourse. Taylor is interested in how young people can shape political conversations and drive change in their communities. She co-founded the national civics organization, Civic Leaders of America, to promote student civic engagement and education. Taylor has worked as a District Office Intern with the California State Assembly and as an ACLU of Southern California Youth Liberty Squad Fellow. She is also involved with the policy research program and policy consulting group at Harvard’s Institute of Politics, and writes for the Harvard Political Review. In her free time, Taylor enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
