2026 Spring Senior Fellow
Vivian Liu
Vivian Liu is a high school student at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, where she researches low-cost water toxin detection and filtration strategies. Growing up in Texas, she became aware of the lack of safe, accessible water across the state, and is passionate about solving the food, water, and energy nexus. Her research has been supported by the Water Environment Association of Texas, the Office of Naval Research (U.S. Navy and Marine Corps), and Regeneron ISEF. Through this work, she hopes not only to advance water safety but to inspire the next generation of researchers in Texas and beyond.
