Adriana Concepcion is a Political Science major with a minor in History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A first-generation college student from Miami, Florida, she is deeply committed to advancing educational equity, particularly for low-income and immigrant communities. Her lived experience informs her interest in addressing systemic barriers in education and promoting culturally responsive solutions to expand college access. On campus, Adriana is a writer and researcher for The Carolina Political Review and a blog contributor for the Journal of Foreign Affairs at Carolina. Her involvement in organizations such as Latinx in Law and the UNC Student Alumni Association reflects her broader dedication to civic engagement and leadership.
