Western Foreign Policy, Islamophobia, and Reduced Effectiveness of Counterterrorism: A Feedback Loop that Must Change

To improve the effectiveness of counterterrorism and intervention, the United States must amend its foreign policy methods, cease the stereotypical representation of Islam, and work with Muslim communities.
