Hillary Villegas is a Peruvian internationalist and researcher whose work focuses on migration governance, international security, diplomacy, and geopolitical risk analysis. She currently serves as an analyst and member of the Academic Review Team at CEERI, an Argentina-based research organization, where she contributes to nuclear risk analysis and supports the editorial review of reports related to the Middle East and Indo-Pacific security dynamics.
She is currently conducting a study on migration and regional cooperation in South America, with a particular emphasis on human rights and international governance mechanisms. Alongside her work in migration studies, she has developed academic interests in strategic competition, foreign policy, and contemporary global conflicts.
Hillary was awarded the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) in 2022 and has participated in international academic and policy initiatives, including a security workshop in Denmark. She speaks Spanish, English, and French.
