Jenna Rowen-Delson is a high school sophomore with a strong interest in politics and a passion for youth involvement in politics. Her extracurriculars include founding the Youth and Government club at her school, taking part in her school's Model United Nations, writing political stories for her high school newspaper, and now writing for the Institute for Youth in Policy. Jenna looks forward to contributing to this institution and joining young people across the country who share her interests.

The contemporary political climate in America holds immense tension, yielded by Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Common discussion in the day-to-day lives of citizens includes Black Lives Matter, climate change, racism, and a multitude of other deep-rooted issues. Despite the current relevance of these topics, each issue is rooted within the foundations of American government- an aspect we are all affected by.
