Mattia Magnatta

Mattia Magnatta is a student at Chadwick School in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, and the co-founder and president of the AI Explorer Foundation, an initiative dedicated to teaching artificial intelligence to children in underserved communities through interactive lessons, a website, and a mobile app. With grant support from the Dragon Kim Foundation, Mattia is helping close the technological literacy gap by expanding access to essential AI education. He has worked as an AI Research and Marketing Analyst at Navitas Semiconductor and Schwartz Capital Group, and as a Sales Representative at Ace Hardware, where he consistently exceeded sales goals through strong customer service. As a member of the Rancho Palos Verdes Youth Advisory Council, Mattia led the passage of a citywide E-bike safety ordinance and spearheaded AI education initiatives in local schools. He also serves as Chapter President of Lions Heart Teen Volunteers and President of Wick Math, leading volunteer events and academic fundraisers that benefit both local communities and classrooms. A dedicated athlete, Mattia is captain of the Chadwick Varsity Water Polo team and a member of the Varsity Golf team. Fluent in English and Spanish, he enjoys golf and badminton and is passionate about using technology and leadership to create lasting social impact.
