Anoushka Swaminathan

Anoushka Swaminathan is a sophomore at Carlmont High School on stolen Ramaytush Ohlone land. They are passionate about economic and social policy and hope to work in a related field. Since finishing YIP's Fellowship, they have become an Environmental Policy Analyst at YIP. They are involved with Junior State of America and their school's Mock Trial team, graduated from Coro NorCal's Exploring Leadership program, and won the 2023 Congressional App Challenge for their work on personal finance accessibility. Aside from policy, Anoushka loves creative writing and has had several pieces published, as well as being recognized by a few competitions and editing for a literary press.
