Michael Yang is a student at Phillips Exeter Academy. He serves as the Editor-In-Chief for the Journal of Policy Analysis at YIP.

Benjamin Ian Chen

Benjamin Chen, an economics and business studies student at New York University formerly worked as the Vice President of Policy at YIP. He served as a research fellow in Taiwan’s National Policy Foundation and Taiwan’s legislature and founded an international news organization in 2021 that was acquired by YIP in 2024.

Donovan Zagorin

Donovan Zagorin is a senior fellow and the Director of Policy at YIP. He is currently a high school student in California who looks to further the goal of improving discourse in politics, especially among youth. He has interests in politics, philosophy, and economics, all of which he hopes to pursue through college and the rest of his foreseeable future.

Chanhee Joy Park

Chanhee (Joy) Park is a Foreign Policy Co-Lead based in Texas and Michigan, specializing in the history and politics of East/Central Asia and Eastern Europe. His research is on cultural diplomacy, comparative politics, and international relations.

Lindsay Chan

Lindsay is a current student at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco. She is passionate about civic engagement, social justice, and the revival of endangered languages. Lindsay hopes to pursue an education in public policy and philosophy in university. For fun, she enjoys writing blog posts, reading dystopian novels, and rowing crew at the lake!

Michelle Liou

Michelle Liou is currently a student at UCLA, studying Business Economics and Philosophy. She seeks to develop her interest in the intersection of consulting and finance, and help businesses maximize their value.

Arya Kumar

Arya is a junior in high school in Northern Virginia who currently works at Youth Institute for Policy as the Economic Policy Department Head.

Katelin Wong

Katelin attends Cornell University, majoring in public policy, and intends to pursue a career in international law.

Mihika Chechi

Mihika Chechi is a student at Burbank High School in southern California who plans on studying Philosophy and International Relations in college.
